De Rossi has the physical build and mentality to cope in the Premier League though. Aquilani was hampered by injuries plus wasn't given a fair chance as well.

de rossi only plays so well for roma because he loves the club. not sure if he can replicate for man city

he can't even replicate his form for national team

i honestly think pizarro would do better for city than de rossi. pizarro has the brains to succeed in any country

De Rossi looked like one of few players that actually was bothered at the last World Cup. I'd put it down to Italy being pretty shit at this point in time rather than it being De Rossi.
