Never seen anyone do brilliantly after getting taken over. Probably because I give up on the CM for one reason or another. Usually because the board always sell Rooney. Mad

Anyway, more of Spurs.. FIFA 12 - Page 24 3925848005

Spurs 2-2 West Brom (Adebayor, Kranjcar)
Swansea 2-3 Spurs (Huddlestone 2, Defoe)
Brighton 2-4 Spurs FA Cup 3rd Round (Saha 2, Lancaster, Milito)
Man Utd 2-2 Spurs Carling Cup Semi Final 1st Leg (Milito, Van der Vaart)

Awful defence there. Sold Gomes because he wanted to leave. Planning a clear out in summer.

How do you start a new career with the updated squads? Everytime I try to do it the squads are reset to default (so basically the old squads)

Aston Villa 1-5 Spurs FA Cup 4th Round (Saha 3, Leitner, Adebayor)
Spurs 0-0 Man Utd Carling Cup Semi Final Second Leg (Spurs advance on away goals)
    Spurs 2-1 Wigan (Modric 2)
Liverpool 1-3 Spurs (Adebayor, Modric, Saha)

Was playing a bit with Tottenham and they are an awesome team to be. Lennon is a bit useless, but his pace more than makes up for it. VDV is also useless though, I played Adebayor in the hole with Defoe upfront. Was smexy.

Won div2 with gymnastic tarragona by one over deportivo. Got offers from teams all over but they were all teams sub mid table.

The biggest transfer pile would have been Leicester city but I didn't want to go to England yet so I went with levante. They have a decent squad and I only had seven mil to spend. Loaned in leandro from gremio and bought this dude called Mohamed chitske or something both play up front. Objective is to finish mid table.

If you use him in a deep midfield ie. 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1 (middle) he works best there. I personally find he doesn't play that well as a CF, I'd rather just stick him as a striker.

I play him off Adebayor most of the time. In my CM he's got 11 goals and 15 assists. shifty

It helps that he takes penalties and has missed just one. Modric, in a deeper role, has 10 goals, but only 2 assists.

I started a CM as Leicester. Wanted to try something different so this is my formation:

    Schemeicel
    Bamba Mills Mariappa
    Faubert Coquelin McCarther Dyer
    Gallagher -------- Delfoneuso
    Beckford

Beat Burnley in the season opener 4-2 and Charlton in the cup 5-1.

Insane on the break with the pace in Dyer and Faubert playing in Beckford. Mariappa was a great buy at 3m, been a beast at the back stopping crosses and that.

Loan Townsend, he's a beast in this game eek
I think he's at Leeds permanently though, transferred him manually to Spurs and before I started my career to Birmingham.

He's permanent as I downloaded latest update for this one Neutral

Gonna get Rose for LM at some point though as he'll be perfect for the LM slot as he's quick, good attacking a d defence wise.

After playing with Spurs further, I've concluded that it is not worth playing.

Spurs being a 5 star team means they are paired with Real Madrid and Barcelona, and no matter how good Spurs are, RM and Barca are much much better. It's an unfair gulf of class. Sure that could be said about most teams in comparison to RM and Barca, but the gulf is much bigger between them and Spurs.

In addition to that, Friedel is a fat fucker who can't save anything. He lets in the easiest most unbalanced weak shots you could imagine Messi could pull. And it's not that Messi is class, it's that Friedel is really horrible. I am certain Szczesny, Neuer, De Gea, Lloris and other goalkeepers of comparable 5 star teams could save them easy.

I'm using this: http://dailygamingnetwork.com/2011/11/04/fifa-12-wootballs-recommended-slider-settings/. Don't know how good it is but it's made the game more enjoyable for me.

I just usually increase passing error to 60 on World Class. Doesn't make them completely useless but they don't cycle it around too much

I got one of the quitters on H2H good.

He got a red card in the 3rd minute. I suspected he was going to quit, so I passed it around a bit after I took the freekick. When the clock was at about 4:30 I started to attack. I crossed the ball into the box and didn't even attempt to win it. I lost the ball when the clock read 5:28. He immediately quit without checking it.

    Easy 3 points. Laughing
