If by some miracle it does go 5 sets, I'll probably go to bed anyway

Difference is you instinctively go for the return, he hit the return then challenged. Rafa waited until Berdych had played another shot to try and challenge.

No, he waited to see if it was being called.. he clearly looked around, then challenged it.Ramalalaharivololona wrote:kyro7 wrote:Double standards.. I don't mind that though because it was out.. but come on.

Also, I'm sure Berdych waited until his return was out to challenge.

By which time Berdych had already returned the ball back to him...I think Point is, you're supposed to be the one who challenges if you think the ball is out. He didn't need to wait to see what the lineswoman said, if he thought it was out he should've challenged straight away.

Re: The tennis thread.
No jinx. He's got a chance, with a double break it'd be finished and Rafa coulda had it twice.

I have no idea why I keep thinking it's spelt "jynx". Was that a Pokémon or something?

Re: The tennis thread.
Sorry for doubting you Rafa.. though you did play like an absolute rectum in the first set.. Upped his game a lot though.

My word, it's gone 1pm. I'll definitely be sleeping through Murray's match tomorrow.

I think I'm going to have to stay awake all day then until after Maria's match.
