The news comes on the back of BBC1's decision to drop two Christmas editions
of the show, which airs after Match of the Day late on Saturday night, from
their TV schedule as part of "budget decisions".
And an insider reportedly told the Mirror: "This will be the last
season the BBC broadcasts the Football League Show.
"It is coming to the end of a three-year contract and it will not be renewed."
Supporters of lower league teams, and fans of the show, have complained about
the dropping of the two Christmas episodes, as speculation that the BBC
plans to scrap the programme altogether when the current season draws to a
close refuses to go away.
Manish Bhasin, presenter of the Football League Show, responded to the
complaints on Twitter by saying it was a "budget decision I'm afraid
... but all the goals will be online on the BBC Football website."

We only joined this year, was nice seeing our goals on BBC. Ah well, you get more highlights for a League 2 game on the BBC's website anyway.

You get more for a Watford match too .
I'm not overly disappointed by this...means I can just skip the crap of Manish, Steve and Leeroy who are all terrible.
