barcastuff Maradona (World Cup winner 1986): "Pele constantly talking down Messi? It's not his fault, age is getting to him."

    the international remarks is pathetic

if messi was in spanish team he would have won loads of tournaments... winning trophies is not an individual thing

Messi is and will always be better then Pele and Maradona

Another Brazilian jumping to the support of another Brazilian over Messi.

It's not like he's talking mierda, he has a point.

Pele is an idiot. Winning 3 world cups does not mean you are a better individual player than somebody who never wins one ever. Its like saying Anderson > Gerrard because he's won the premier league.

I think there have been many players better than Pele including Luiz Ronaldo, Henry, Messi and Maradona.

He is talking mierda, look at the opponents Barcelona have faced. Madrid of Kaka, Ozil, Cassilas and Cristiano Ronaldo and beat them nearly every time, Manchester United, incumbent World and European Champions with Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Ferdinand, Vidic and beat them in the 2009 Final, and again, albeit much weaker in the 2011 Final. That Madrid side was vastly overrated, United's European Cup winning side would have slapped the piss out of it.

“We played against Real Madrid of [Zinedine] Zidane, Ronaldo and [Luis]
Figo, Milan of Kaka, and a Liverpool team who were going through a great
    phase
    .”

Why would he mention this when Liverpool beat them over two legs and Ronaldinho was quite anonymous in both games? And his argument is complete rubbish too. Why does playing for a more established side make Ronaldinho a better player than Messi? scratch
