After Dial-up, my internet was .75Mb/s. That was what was promised, and that was what showed up on speed test. However, when I downloaded something it was only about a tenth of that (75Kb/s). Then I upgraded to 3Mb/s, but when I downloaded a file, it was still only about a tenth of the promised speed (340-350Kb/s). Currently I have 10Mb/s internet speed, but when I download something the speed tops out at about 1.3 Mb/s.
Is this normal, or is there something I can do to download at speeds closer to those promised(and shown on speedtest)?
