To be fair Nani is a top class winger and Djourou is a central defender too.BladeGunner wrote:How can you blame Vermaelen for not dealing with a cross in the box when he's playing out at left-back? Especially when we use zonal marking. If you want to blame someone, blame fucking Djourou who has been beaten every single time by Nani.

For the first team I actually agree with you. Djourou gave Giggs too much time didn't even close him down.

Anyway that goal was good, good cross and good header.. far from over though, Arsenal have a lot more to give.
Tyler seemed depressed about us scoring.
He supports Woking. Loads of people thought he supported Arsenal because he done the voiceovers on our season reviews.

I wasn't watching it when the goal scored and I just heard Tyler mutter something about "goal."

Aye, as soon as Giggs had put the ball in I was like "Aw fuck they've scored"Cam wrote:It was like 'Cross from Giggs, oh it's a goal.'

John Champion must be a United fan then.Mal wrote:SBSP wrote:Tyler does support Arsenal.

Not surprised though. Alan Smith used to play for Arsenal, and he doesn't get excited anyway.

Then blame Wenger for not bringing in a full-back on loan.

Djourou is a fucking disgrace. He does the same thing every time, he just stays inside to be safe, and then if need be, he will follow the wide man wide. No wonder they are having a field day because it is so easy to just keep the ball in that corner because Djourou won't apply any pressure.
It's like he's never watched a game of football before.

Shit first half, only positive was Chambo, has to start every game imo. Walcott was shit beyond belief, Rosicky wasn't bad, worked hard and made one very good pass. Djourou was very poor, Yennaris would do much better against Nani. Not very confident for the 2nd half, hope we get a goal back.

Need to get Chamberlain on the ball more running at Evra, he's a key player for you.Chris wrote:United deserve the lead.

Walcott needs to be sold, Chamberlin has already proven he's better, I just find Walcott's all pace and no end product.

Yeah, how can I blame a CB for not winning a header against a winger. Silly me, I should just be like every other Arsenal fan here and only blame our problems on a select few players and give everyone else a free pass.

Arsenal should count themselves lucky Nani's final ball hasn't been all that today.

What other options have Arsenal got at RB, or defenders on the bench? Djourou needs to come off or be moved into centre back.
