    SWANSEA CITY VS ARSENAL

    | Swansea City vs Arsenal | Sunday 15th Jan | _57868059_henry

    Head-to-head

    • Swansea and Arsenal have only played each other 10 times: the Gunners winning six times to Swansea's three.
    • The South Wales club last beat Arsenal at home on 10 October 1981, a 2-0 victory at Vetch Field.
    • Swansea did the double over Arsenal that season in the old Division One, also winning 2-0 at Highbury on 27 February 1982.

    Swansea

    • Swansea have only lost once at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League all season.
    • They have the eighth-best home form in the division, but the second-worst away form.
    • Brendan Rogers' side have drawn in a blank in five of their past 10 Premier League matches.
    • In 18 Premier League appearances, Swansea midfielder Leon
Britton has managed two shots and scored no goals, nor created any
      assists.
    • Danny Graham is Swansea's top scorer with eight in all competitions.

    Arsenal

    • Arsenal have lost two of their past three away games in the Premier League.
    • The Gunners have only averaged one goal a game over their past seven matches in all competitions.
    • Ahead of Sunday's game, Thierry Henry has scored against all 34
previous opponents he has faced in the Premier League - and has now
      notched 227 goals for Arsenal.

    Good OP.

Swansea have done fairly ell at home, so I'm not expecting a thrashing.

    2-1 Arsenal.

    Gervinho, Henry and Graham.

Lol, what a pointless stat about Leon Britton. He is played as a deep pivot like Busquets. facepalm

    That actually made me think...

The only Barcelona players to have played over 5 games and not register an assist or goal this season are Mascherano, Busquets, Maxwell, Keita and Valdes.

One's a goalkeeper, one's been sold and the other 3 are defensive midfielders and 2 of them often play centre back. Laughing

    Expecting a very open game.
I like Swansea because even though they are not favorites and cannot
compare themselves with the so called "big 6" they always take the game
to their opponents which leads to a good football match.

    Unlike those wolves 10menbehindtheballcunts

Actually I would've played Benayoun on the left to offer Miquel as much support as possible.
