    They only do it for the money and the money isn't even that good. I majored in chemistry and make 65k and I graduated in May '11. LOL @ idiots putting themselves through shiit for nothing. Most of them don't even know wtf engineering is. LMAO!

    Cool story bro, I'm currently doing my HND, then after that one more year if I want a degree. I think I'd rather just find a job after this year, I'd take a job at technician level if I'm honest, the way things are going.

    I somewhat agree with Chris. But it's not all about money. Why study something you don't like? If someone's passion is engineering, then they should follow it. Plus, engineering is a vast field. Someone can make a great salary as an engineer.

    He's right though. I feel like at the university, people go for Engineering for the status of supreme intelligence. Which is, unfortunately for them, wrong.. no one cares.

    Most of them will end up just becoming a machine operator at some shit warehouse. Yay 4-year college!

    Man all my mates at uni who are doing Engineering actually work their fucking brains to death. It's fucked up. A few of them are at uni on almost every Saturday and Sunday all day doing assignments. I'm doing psych..work load is significantly easier lol
