I wonder if Citeh will be able to change the game with their 36 million pound striker on the bench... or the 24 million pound playmaker... or 24 million pound james milner. Could always keep 27 million pound Eden Dzeko on with 24 million pound Samir Nasri. Decisions, decisions!

Re: Sunderland vs Man City | 3pm.
Btw Silva not playing is because he needed a rest, he's played loads of games this year and looked a bit tired in the past couple.

Samir Nasri's become such a boring player. Used to be so much more dynamic when he was younger. All he does nowadays is pretend to shoot once, twice and then play the pass for the overlapping left-back.

I do think in part it's because of Mancini's tactics, Nasri's obviously been told to play Silva's role, which ignores his natural game and as Nasri isn't a great passer of the ball he's been average this season.

The Silva role is his natural game and he is a great passer of the ball

Yeah, basically this. He's not suited to wing play.

He really isn't, don't you remember when Nasri was given the advanced playmaker role for Arsenal while Fabregas was injured, he was average.

No he wasn't... all of his fantastic performances came when Fabregas wasn't playing really.

When did this happen?
Take the first Stoke fixture of last season for instance, Fabregas was injured, so Nasri replaced him in the line-up, it ended 0-0 or 1-1 didn't it, Nasri offered little creativity throughout the match.

If you wanna see how the lower table teams play against Real, watch this game. The same thing happens.

Classic Martin O'Neil side - defensive as hell and try to nick one at a set piece.

Should never have started with both Barry and De Jong.

Indeed, but as is typical with these kind of tactics the team drop deeper and deeper which leads to more pressure and inevitably a goal.

By no means inevitable. Wolves will testify to this.
