I can't believe what I just fucking witnessed.
In short, I ended up going to that house-party down the road. I left at about 11:45pm 'cause a drunk mate turned up at my door and told me to get moving 'cause the party was 'fucking insane'.
When I got there, there were a couple of police cars there, the house was empty and everyone was outside scattered about outside. Someone I don't know was being cuffed by the police and there were firework boxes all over the front lawn and people were crying
I asked around and apparently ... (this is the insane part) ... someone lit a firework in his hand and it went off/exploded early and flew into his fucking eye! He's in hospital right now and people are saying there's no way he's going to be able to see again after that Apparently there was a fucking hole where his left eye was, FUCK.
Police told everyone to basically fuck off, and the place got deserted pretty quickly. My mate suddenly said 'Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that this happened' ...
