Vertonghen is quality, you need someone to partner Kaboul. I don't think King is as good as he's made out to be at all tbh.

The guy suffers from Hargreaves syndrome, if he played every week you'd realise he's not that good. He's ridiculously overrated.

I've watched him for nearly his whole career, so I think I'm in a good position to judge his ability.

I think you've got this wrong. If he were able to play every week you'd start to understand how good he actually is.

If King could play every week he's be an England regular, no doubt about it, he's a fantastic defender.

Didn't Thierry Henry say King was the best CB he's played against? This was when Henry was good aswell.

You have to laugh. Laughing I think appreciating King is a good barometer of general knowledge about defenders. The man is a brilliant defender.

£7m is a lot for 6 months football.

Ronaldo was on a 5 year contract right? So £80m divided by 10 = £8m every 6 months.

So Cahill is worth £70m over 5 years Laughing

Well it does, but not proportionately.

Not like Luiz and Ivanovic are having injury problems, Terry is likely to get banned and Alex is leaving. Nope. We're stocking centre backs up for our bench!
