Shit. It seems PSG are on a mission to take all of Serie A's best young players. The transfer doesn't make much sense though. Gameiro has been one of their only consistent players this season. There are other positions they should be looking at.

It still wouldn't be a lock, but the chances of such a move happening would certainly increase.

This is great news for Arsenal. If they get rid of Pato and only bring in Tevez, they'll be very short of attacking options in the Champions League.

Good point. Robinho misses a shitload of chances and last year's Round of 16 fixtures against Tottenham are prime examples of that. As for Zibra, he has a hard time against English teams in the Champions League, barring that Barca v. Arsenal match in 2010, even then he could've had more than two goals.

I'm not saying that Milan wouldn't have an edge, however, the matches would be a lot tighter, in my opinion.

They can't. He wasn't included in the Champions League roster.

I'd still be very concerned about Zibra. He's been on great form lately and he's bound to make me look stupid at one point or another. No better stage than against the team I support. Pato to PSG 537999

I don't think so. He might be moving in January either way.

If they sell him for 50m and get Tevez for less than that they'll have done a brilliant deal.

Didn't real madrid add a cup tied player to their CL roster in January? I seem to remember it being between Benzema and Lassana Diarra.
