Some of them haven't even come out yet. It's likely that you'll hear about most of them in the next couple of weeks as their producers start campaigning for them. Many people hadn't heard of The King's Speech last year until the Weinsteins started advertising it heavily.

Yeah, she is. It's actually rather annoying. She's a brilliant actress, but the Academy loves her too much. Even when she doesn't partake in particularly good films (2009 with Julie & Julia and It's Complicated ), she still gets nominated.

Bumping this since the Golden Globes awards ceremony apparently starts in less than 2 minutes.

I haven't seen a movie in a while.

The Artist wins for Best Score. Really thought Trent Reznor had it in the bag. Didn't make a prediction for Best Score anyway so I still have a 100% record.

Madonna wins for Best Original Song.

Michelle Williams wins for My Week with Marilyn. Pretty surprising. Thought the Hollywood Foreign Press would give it to Theron because of her star status.
