If anyone is in a position to strike it from 30 yards, then sure, have a go, but only if there aren't any better options. Most of the time I've been at the club you'ved miss.
And it's frustrating seeing safe balls knocked about for 5-10mins to lose the ball, It's better to play with some risks at least, It's rare anybody has a pop at goal from 30 yards. Don't see what's wrong with it.
Oh give over man, I'm not as greedy as you make out. Not the first one anyways, I'm greedy when doing skills because it's noticeable but players like Witcher try turning players 5-8 times and just lose the ball, I do the often through ball, and I am a team player I'd happly play anywhere but LM/RM where I was getting played yesterday that's all. 1) greedy, first goal was 3 v 1. 2 in open space, any normal person would pass, but no he takes the player on and fair enough does score but it is still a true show of greediness.
2) lobbed through balls, one of the most pathetic ways of playing. I despise people who constantly try them.
3) unnecessary tricks. Most of the time he does one and doesn't pass the man, or he does 5 or 6 in a row. It's stupid.
4) is not a team player. Only wants to play 1 position properly despite poor pro and not great striking ability anyway.

And Witcher is right, Moose is the best player in the club with his team work and simple passes. Much better than constantly doing skills and trying to pass it down the middle through 4 players.

I am selfish because I have been the club's main striker for some time. I've offered it to others such as Jordi when they wanted it. Decent assist tally as well.
