Premier League winners.
Yeah, like 600 years ago. Means nothing now, they should be plying their trade in the Championship.

Ok, I ask because Lech Poznan and Wisla Krakow have sent scouts apparently, and I would imagine they would only be interested in players that would improve their teams.Ché Guayaba wrote:Jord, the fuck did you say? Sounded like "real sorry bro"
@ Polska. No offense but I'd think it be a step backwards, I rate the Mexican leauge higher than the Polish one and if someone like Marco Fabian went to Poland I'd slap myself.
I guess it also depends on which player that is too, some positions have better than depth than others. Lets say, Marco Fabian or Hobbit Bermudez left to Poland, I'd trip, but if say, Paul Aguilar did I don't think it be that bad.
I don't think it would be the worst thing that could happen. I mean Polish league atm is a step down from Mexican league, but I think the gap has decreased greatly in the last few years, they would be getting regular first team football and would be playing regularly in Europe.

Re: Chat Thread
Yes, and no. He always performs well with the national team, even at the world cup he was one of our best players, I don't think Spurs have ruined him but they have set back his career a bit, but he's only 22, I fully expect him to get his career back on track when he finally leaves. He's played well when he went out on loan, especially with Racing where he scored a few goals. Rumor has it he's real close to signing with Sevilla, I think he'll do well if he goes, the coach really wants him to be part of the team and he'll get plenty of games. The opposite was the case with Tottenham. Redkapp just never warmed up to dos Santos.Start. wrote:Che do you rate Gio Dos Santos? Do you think Spurs have ruined him?
To be fair there are quite a few players that are good but aren't at national team level, players that could probably improve a team over there. Someone like lets say Hugo Ayala, Ricardo Bocanegra, or Issac Brizuela. I might be wrong but I don't think Poland has that many players with the characteristics these have.polska. wrote:Ok, I ask because Lech Poznan and Wisla Krakow have sent scouts apparently, and I would imagine they would only be interested in players that would improve their teams.Ché Guayaba wrote:Jord, the fuck did you say? Yeah.
That's a great one. When they ask him who he would like to star in his film and he says Clive Warren.

I like the French. Except for that whole Franco-Mexican War thing, they seem like nice chaps.
@ Gordon, what do you think of your boy and the rumor he might join the other Santos?

J'aime le francais.
It just sounds weird. I go along listening to the French and then all of a sudden the word soccer just jumps in out of the blue. Don't know why they don't use le foot like the French do. Canadians.
@Che: Which boy?

Re: Chat Thread
Giovanni Moreno. Reports from Colombia say he's on his way to Santos Laguna(as in everything has been wrapped up and agreed on). Santos Lugana's president however said they are not interested. Could go either way.
It's probably the latter but it be fun to watch him play every week.

Re: Chat Thread
Someone posted it not to long ago. Quality.
If Moreno joins, I hope he can do the business on a hot humid day at Chiapas. Last big(as in size) attacking midfield players that joined a Mexican club was Daniel Bilos.
Scored a great header than did absolutely nothing.
