Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has said Gareth Bale is "very doubtful" because of an ankle injury.
Jermain Defoe may also miss out with a hamstring problem, Emmanuel Adebayor has a minor foot injury. Aaron Lennon is absent due to a hamstring tear.
Chelsea captain John Terry has overcome the Achilles problem he suffered in training earlier this week.
Ramires has recovered from a leg injury but fellow Brazilian David Luiz is still sidelined with a knee problem.

Yeh, Tottenham's chances could be hampered through injuries.

Bale may still make it at least on the bench.

Possibly, not had the best start to his Spurs career. Time to step up, tonight is his chance. Will he cope, lets wait and see.

He wouldn't have started over VDV and Aedbayor anyway to be honest. It is a blow no doubt, because if it's severe we're indeed fucked for now.Jelavic9|RFC wrote:Newt wrote:SkySportsNews Sky Sports News

Don't worry, Defoe's injury won't be too bad i should imagine. Lennon is only out for a few weeks since its a low grade tear and Bale/Ade have little knocks so no one is fucked. It'll hopefully accelerate us buying another striker in January so could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

We should have bought a 4th striker in the Summer, because a couple of injuries and we're left with one. But, Leandro Damiao please!MattSpur wrote:easley91 wrote:

I'm not so sure about tonight whether we'll win or lose, until I see the teamsheet and Bale/Adebayor/VDV starting then I'm thinking draw/lose.

Unfortunately I think Tottenham will win this, seeing as it's at home and Spurs don't really drop points too easily nowadays.

I've heard that Bale and Adebayor both start. Not entirely confirmed but if they do and The King is fit i'll be very confident.

Hey Long time no see (so to speak). You confident about the match tonight? I was going to pub it but i've been advised that i shouldn't be allowed in public during important matches unless i'm at the stadium.

Wait why aren't you allowed in public?
And I'm edgy, can never be confident for some reason

I make very deep groaning sexual noises when we score and i give some right stick to opposition fans (especially scumbag clubs like chelsea). I never thought it was much of a problem but mates have commented...
