So Tottenham need to win against Shamrock and they need Rubin Kazan to lose to PAOK.
Still possible but I think Tottenham will go out.

Atleast we learnt that 0 of the non 1st team players that played tonight are getting into our 1st team anytime soon
Wasn't impressed with any of them.

What is it with English teams in Europe this year? For the sake of the coefficient UEFA should invite Liverpool back

Re: Tottenham Hotspur VS PAOK
My Ratings
Gomes - 4/10 - Had fuck all to do bar picking the ball out of his net twice. The 1st of which I think he could have done better with.
Corluka - 4/10 - looked slow as fuck getting back and made a boat load of passing mistakes.
Gallas - 4/10 - was at fault for the 1st
Bassong - 4/10 - Was at fault for the 1st too with slack marking.
Rose - 5/10 - did well but got beat a few times when he shouldn't have
Lennon - 5/10 - Did ok, disappointed with his runs though, failed to beat his man too many times for my liking.
Modric - 5/10 - Not his usual passing machine self, alot of misplaced passes.
Livermore - 5/10 - Misplaced alot of passes through lack of care and getting his head up.
Pienaar - 4/10 - was rubbish, had a few fancy flicks but other then that he was just shit. gave fuck all help to rose and wasted 2 chances at goal with horrible finishing.
Kane - 4/10 - few good passes, missed a great headed chance and gave away possession far far too much.
Defoe - 4/10 - Didn't do much bar score a legit goal
Bale - 5/10 - Looked good when he came on, had a few class runs and was unlucky with a FK
Walker - 5/10 - looked good too, his usual pacey attacking self.
Falque - 5/10 - Had a few good moments, didn't really see enough of him though.
Overall we were slow as fuck on the ball, made too many mistakes and had amateurs playing in defence
Onto Bolton though, where it really matters.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur VS PAOK
Gomes 5/10 couldnt do much for either goal
Charlie - 3/10 terrible performance, slow, cost us a goal and was shit going forward
Gallas - 4/10 cost us the first goal
Bassong - 2/10 how is he even playing, id rather hhave caulker
Rose - 4/10 didnt really do anything and was poor defensively
Lennon - 6/10 did okay, made a few good runs but nothing came of them
Livermore 5/10 not as good as he was earlier in the season
Modric 7/10 our only good player
Pienaar 1/10 fucking useless player that doesnt want to be here I dont think, offers nothing, no pace, cant pass, terrible
Kane 6/10 did okay, should have scored that heaader but his movement was decent
Defoe 6/10 crippled a guy and took his chance, wrongly ruled out, looked sharp.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur VS PAOK
Bassong and Gallas were a big disgrace last night.
Doubt we will progress now, I would have liked winning this but look at the bright side.. we would never have won with Man City coming and with us using reserves. We can concentrate on the EPL now/

Re: Tottenham Hotspur VS PAOK
Corluka is shockingly bad compared to Walker. Bassong and Gallas were awful (and Gallas is no slouch usually, a very experienced player with rookie positioning last night). Ah well at least players can be fresh for league games and King will definitely be rested during the week (I felt he may have played in the later rounds as an important figure).

Shame Townsend and co. weren't given a run out. Been impressed with them in the Europa league so far this season, especially Carroll.

Same. Thing is we'll see what Harry really makes of the competition. If he wants to progress then we'll play a near full strength side (bar VDV who wasn't picked for the group stages -.-).

Which is why I wanted to see Carroll and co.
No point playing Modric/Bale and that because if they get injured them we're fucked.
