So I had a thread about my save where I was Arsenal in football manager 2011, this time I'm going to manage their rivals - Tottenham Very Happy

    Formation:

    4-4-2 diamond

    akaranzo's FM 2012 Tottenham save 278895_Football_Manager_Team

    Transfers:

    In:

Vaclav Kadlec - from Sparta Prague for 4.9 million euros. - Needed another striker that's young and he is perfect for that, one of the wonderkinds in this fm, also wanted to snap him up before some other club does.

Alphonse Areola - from PSG for 7.5 million euros - I probably overpaid for him but he seems like a decent future goalkeeper, since both Friedel and Gomes aint that young anymore I figure I could use a young goalkeeper that can start playing as a regular in a few seasons.

Ragnar Klavan - From AZ for 1.5 million inital fee, plus 1 million over 12 months and 2.5 million after he has made 20 appearances in the league. Just wanted to sign an Estonian player shifty but seriously though, he can offer decent cover to Assou-Ekotto since we are lacking a bit in left backs at the moment.

Yaya Sanogo - from AJ Auxerre for 2.5 million, seems like a good youngster with lots of potential.

    out:

Carlo Cudicini - to Napoli for 500k - he's 37 already and not that good plus I have just signed another GK so didn't really need him.

Niko Krancjar - to Liverpool on loan, fee of 2.5 million. Didn't really need him and needed some money to sign players.

    Pre-Season:

yeah, the pre-season went really well, we trashed all of the opponents Very Happy

next update will be on the Wolves match - which is the first league game of the season

So the first game of the league:

    akaranzo's FM 2012 Tottenham save 2le4ebm

This was a very odd match, we got an early goal but then we really started struggling against Wolves. They were playing really well and looked like scoring so many times. But then I brought on Kadlec for Defoe, and immediately he scores, making it 2-0 for us and then Wolves just fell apart and Bale got two more goals to complete his hat-trick. So yeah, the scoreline doesn't tell the full story of the game

next game: Europa League qualifying: Malmö FF - Tottenham

Bit of advice for you. Train Sandro to be a CB, he becomes a defeinsive beast after a few seasons and has perfect stats to play there (or just be great backup)

So the big signing of the January transfer window was:

Carlos Tevez for 20 million Teeth

hopefully he wont refuse to play anytime soon

and I sold Jake Livermore to West Brom for 1.2 million, assistant reports said he isn't gonna be that great and he really didn't fit into my system anyway

so now on to the results:
