I'd put them in this order:
Forest
Leeds
West Ham

That's like saying that until 2006, Leeds were bigger than Arsenal because we reached the final whereas they hadn't until then.LFC_Grunners wrote:2 European Cups' speaks for itself

You're right, they have nothing on your Belgium giants such as Genk, Standard Liege and Club Brugge.El Pipita wrote:3 shit clubs in one poll, just wow.

It's also like saying Forest are bigger than Arsenal. I would say they are bigger than Chelsea though.
Do you think that successful is playing in league one for the first time ever? Do you think that 20,000 is a lot for one of the biggest cities in England? Lots of that support is based outside of Leeds as well...LFC_Grunners wrote:coolhead33 wrote:

Still think Forest are a bigger club, They have won more trophies overall. Although Leeds may have a substantially larger fanbase, that's only because a) They have been more successful over recent years and they are the only club in a large city.

In the last 10(ish) years Leeds have been in the Champions League and have done well there. And Forest spent some time in League 1 around 06 iirc. So yes in comparison to Forest I would say Leeds have had a succesful time.
I'm confused about your second point, Leeds has a population of roughly 1m.

If you read my other posts then you know that trophies doesn't automatically make you a bigger club than another. Leeds and Chelsea had won a similar amount until Abramovic took over and money has since made it an uneven playing field. I wouldn't consider Chelsea any bigger than Leeds because of it. Most trophies won before money fucked football up were fair I think. Although bad decisions were still around then, it happened to every team. Money has made the likes of shitty Man City a European giant although in my eyes, they are still a small club in many ways.Forest wrote:Coolhead has just proved that Forest are the 10th biggest team in terms of honours in England, and the biggest in the Championship. Plus, with similar attendances in a much smaller city, that has 2 Football League teams, Forest prove to be bigger! The only thing Leeds have on us is a little bit better recent history, and their away support
@Che: Anyone with an ounce of footballing knowledge around the world will know who we are. When I went to Mexico our taxi driver asked where we were from and he got dead excited when we said Nottingham. He was like Amigo Amigo Brian Clough Forest European Cup winner twice Robin Hood!
