If a club were interested in Messi...what fee do you think Barcelona would accept?

I reckon Newell's Old Boys could snap him up for 40 million Euros since he has their DNA.

A couple of seasons ago i think he had a release clasue of €250 Million. He might of signed a new contract now though

All Spanish clubs put crazy release clauses in contracts. They HAVE to put release clauses in so usually they put ridiculous ones in. I think 25-75 million is a realistic amount that barca would accept f a club was to bid for messi, Thinking about it, Liverpool could have had Messi instea of Carrol

£100m+, would be a waste of money though unless they're buying Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets as well.

They did 2 seasons ago well there was rumor's i'm pretty sure they did bid when Pellegrini was in charge

Well Ronaldo was 80 million and Messi's better than him so would have to be higher than 80 million i would say around 100 million

The only way that would ever happen if Barca got into a financial crisis and had to sell all their highest earners. But I can't see that happening anytime soon.

with Ronaldo at £80m, messi would easily be over £125m

Messi's release clause is €300M. Unless he desperately wants to leave I don't really see Barca accepting anything less.
