late to the shit thread party, but I really doubt anyone cares about De Gea or brings him up anymore. He was good for a laugh in the beginning of his PL career, but the young Almunia can fade into the abyss.

He has been getting better during his time in United, and it shows. His first couple of games weren't exactly good, but he seems to be finding a good level. Lindegaard was the best keeper at United at the beginning of the season, I'd say they're about even now. As much as I'd prefer to see Lindegaard play (for obvious reasons, really), I see the logic in having a young keeper who can be at the club for the next 20 years in the goal.
