Me and my mates were watching trailers and stuff today, we're all getting pumped up for it.

I've got 7 hours to order this and it still to come tomorrow, need to decide if I want it this early.

Cons:
I've got hardly any money. I think I'm probably into my overdraft but I can't be fucked to look.
I've already ordered MW3 so do I really need both right away to keep my attention?

Pros:
It's fucking Skyrim!

Pros look good to me. I'm more concerned whether there's a point buying AC Revelations the following week considering this will take some time.

What a past few weeks for games

Fancy having a little go at Oblivion again, take a last look at Cyrodiil.

JUST ARRIVED IN THE POST. Wasn't expecting it today.

Got a 9.5 on IGN, less than Uncharted 3. Bring out the pitchforks. Then again IGN's reviewers are a strange bunch.



Going to install to hard-drive first. Such hype.

Uncharted was rated higher because it's better.

I actually don't think i'll be getting this tomorrow, and may have to wait 'till Christmas.

Keep us updated on what it's like, Witcher.

Character creation is going to take so long. Issues with anti-aliasing in this game, but it probably is more an issue with my tv...get it with almost every game I play. But I can cope.

Mines just despatched. I need to complete the fighters guild quest line on oblivion before tomorrow

Combat seems more vivid in a sense, I feel more powerful. In honesty this tutorial bit is dreadfully easy, I'm assuming eventually I stop killing people with two blows.

Don't even get me started on the water animations. Walked into a cave of sorts, and there was a little stream going through the middle. Just looked so enchanting.

Is the character creation good? I remember on oblivion, the character creation was a bit shit

I found it a bit too much, as I did with Oblivion. I'm not great at judging what the best nose will be and so on. Just went with a preset and edited the hair. But faces look much better and unique than Oblivion...there all faces seemed to have that same empty look on them.

Ahh cool, yeah, I'll probably just change the hair a bit and stuff, I always end up making them look retarded.

I'm taking it slow. Right now I haven't played for an hour or so, I've only just been directed into open space...still part of the tutorial/opening chapter and I'm in that bit at the start of the walkthrough video at E3 2011. A winding path leading down into a forest. I won't spoil anything. But it's still basically following the game.

Maybe I should have called myself Thor and roam Skyrim with a giant hammer..assuming that weapon is in the game.

You can catch butterflies in this game. This world is so enchanting and I've barely explored any portion of it.

And now I shot down a fox, hunting feels more like hunting in this game. Sorry for littering this thread with nonsensical posts.

Think I'll wrap this game up for today, but it looks like a masterpiece. 3D Map looks incredible, see it for yourself. There's mist around the mountains as well..just creates a stunning visual experience.


Game of the year, deserves it. Not some shitty linear Indiana Jones rip off.

Can't decide if I want to buy this yet... Too many good games coming out. I would torrent it (queue cockroach) but I highly doubt my computer can come anywhere close to meeting the minimum requirements.
