What punishment does Anders Behring Breivik deserve?

Killing 77, he would be a dead man in China for sure.

What about in Norway?

He faces a maximum jail term of just 21 years. Astonishingly, that is the longest sentence available to judges in Norway's benevolent justice system.

So if you were the judge of the whole world, What punishment do you think Anders Behring Breivik deserves?

He killed 76.

Life. Why would you want to let him be killed? Then he isn't getting punished for what he done. In prison he will rot in hell.

I don't believe in moral absolutes like 'Murder is always wrong', there are circumstances where it can be the right thing to do, for example when the United Kingdom bombed German Cities in the second world war. I'm not saying he will be, but I don't presume to speak for myself in 20 years, much less the population of Norway.

Killing him would be stupid, he'll be big news cos of all the people saying it was wrong to kill him, he wants to be in the news all the time, more publicity for what he believes him, let him rot in jail and be forgotten

He feels he was, collateral damage. I don't agree with him in any way whatsoever, don't get me wrong, I found what he did appalling, but you have to look at it rationally.

The threat of death is not going to deter these people, he was perfectly prepared to die, so are more other terrorists, you don't become a terorrist if you don't have extreme commitment to your cause.
