    Hopefully they'll have learnt from their mistakes. Gears 1 was amazing, and Gears 2 was awful. It didn't work at all for like the first year. Credit to EPIC for not letting it go though, they fixed nearly all the glitches and constantly released patches to try and improve it. They could've just done an Infinity Ward and left it once they got their money.

    That's cosmetic, you could say that about COD or Halo, also the Pink Lancer was suggested by the fans for breast cancer.

    The graphics look amazing, I love Epic because they genuinely care about the players, they listen to feedback and tune the game accordingly. Hopefully the gameplay is just as amazing.

    Yeah Gears 2 was a let down but they stuck with it and it is now playable, Lag hinders the game mostly but with dedicated servers the game should be great.

    It took them 2 years of updates to make a sequel to the most fun online shooter 'playable'.


    No game will ever be as fun online as Gears 1 this generation.

    Can somebody tell me what the deal was with the amount of lag in Gears 2?! I remember it used to take about 2-3 minute to connect to an online game as game as well. Neutral

    2-3 minutes isn;t even long.... also it was due to network issues which have now been sorted, some people like Tevez live in the past and think Gears 1 is amazing when in reality you get stuck to cover and down with an active sniper every game.

    I was a huge fan of 1. 2 was absolute shit, and I was disappointed after all the hype.

    I'm hoping they go out strong with Gears 3. Here's the latest video with info on the beta etc here.



    Apparently playing on Bulletstorm get you stuff for the full game, but Bulletstorm looks shit so don't bother.

    Bulletstorm epic edition gets you a beta for the Gears of War 3 multiplayer. It doesn't look that bad, looks like a game for fun not something you would take serious, you can just kill shit and enjoy it rather than cod online where it pisses you off because bullshit happens.

    I got Bulletstorm mainly for my guranteed beta access but i must say, Its bloody great Laughing
    The script is hilarious and the game is so fun to play i can tell im gonna be replaying it alot, I recommend it to all of you Smile gotta get the epic edition for the beta though.

    When Gears 1 was first out and everyone was playing it, it was simply the most insanely enjoyable gaming experience I've ever had.

    I don't think Gears 3 is going to be that great, I never played 1 but have heard of its greatness, and 2 was just the shittiest shit. Definitely not game of the year material, that is reserved for BF3 or Skyrim.
