FIFA 11 Release Date

I'm glad EA is finally releasing their FIFA games in North America first. They started doing it with the 2010 World Cup game and it seems like they will be continuing this pattern.

NA - September 28
AUS - September 30
EU - October 1

Now, the rest of the world will have to wait and suffer like we did for the past few years.

No idea why loads of people in Europe have a problem. It's made in America, it makes sence for it to be released there first

Yeah that's what I said. It doesn't matter that much to me, because I rarely buy games on the release date. I'm planning on doing it this time though; however, I won't get a chance to play the game until September 30. That's still before the rest of the world though.

I'm getting it on release date, or the day after. Might nip into town after school on the Friday.

I would theoretically get it on release day.

We have a problem purely because football is our biggest sport over here, most Americans prefer baseball, american football & basketball as their prefered sports.
Plus you get most other things before us like films, tv series and computer games. Alls we ask is for one games release date to be brought forward over here.

Getting it on release day, just gotta go through 5 hours of college first.

If that NFL game was produced by a European company, then fine. But FIFA is produced by EA Canada and EA is an American company. To be honest, games should be released all over the world on the same day. I don't see the point of releasing it at different dates.

Probably takes time shipping copies cover to different parts of the world.

Last year I went into town to get it, but shes off and usually goes into town on a Friday too, if not she works in town so its just a 2 minute walk!

It's better walking with your mates to get it though, if yu've got a supermarket near you I'd definitley wake up 30 minutes earlier than you do and get it, they make have some deals like last year.

They better have the same deals as last year. My mate went to Tesco before school and got 10 on release day, for like £25

Same, i got FIFA 10 at Asda for £25 last year. Hopefully there gonna do the same thing with 11.

That's a poor excuse. They can still ship it and wait to release it to the public on the same day. That's what they do anyways. Obviously, shipping the games all over North America takes time too.
