How shit have films gone recently?

For mindfucks check out Primer. I really didn't understand that film. For intelligence Fermst's Room. It's a Spanish film but it's interesting.

There are plenty of good new films. True Grit was excellent. The Town was great. Black Swan sounds amazing but I haven't seen it yet. The Social Network was highly entertaining. Inception was spectacularly directed and very well acted. It was a good plot too.

Seen A Scanner Darkly and Primer. I was also thinking of watching Night Watch before.

The Social Network was surprisingly good aswell.

I will check some of the others out.

The Fighter was fantastic too. I never respected Christian Bale before this movie but he steals the show. Stunning performance.

What movies are you watching, for real?

The shite movies recently released has meant I've had to watch shit like Narnia.

Tbh I think I'm not giving movies enough thought. Like I seen The Fighter was released but I thought it just seems like one of those typical boxing movies like Cinderella Man or something so didn't bother.

I need to be more open minded.


It just seems like there was a time only like a year a go when there was big movies being released each month. Like, Gamer (shit), Law Abiding Citizen (Not bad), Avatar(shit), Kick Ass(Good), and others like that. Now it's all sort of smaller budget movies.

Yeah open mindedness would help, if you can spend money on Narnia, you can spend money on the fighter.

There's constant good films out too, just check reviews before you go and make sure to avoid bad ones and only go to good ones. Kings Speech, True Grit, the Social Network etc..

Yeah he is brilliant in it. I watched it the other day, a good film. I missed 15 minutes of it though.

Turns out I had watched the last Harry Potter but just couldn't remember a single thing from it. Weird as fuck, I started watching it a bit and it all came flooding back. Too similar to the one before imo.

Going to give The Fighter a try.

Harry Brown is a great recent film.

Inception - A huge boring explanation with random rules and special effects thrown in.

Utterly shit film it was.

Rise of the Footsoldier = brilliant film and true story.

Watched Due Date the other day. Good film.

Black swan was a good movie. For me, it's not that movies are getting shit. It's the fact of how many movies there are. Shits loads come out and it's hard to pick out what movies to watch.

Black swan is a good movie, but i can understand why some people didn't like it.

Saw I am number 4 the other day, basically twilight with Aliens, less gay though.

I want to see that.

My choice for tonight is Sanctum, Jackass 3, or Despicable Me .
