Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

I've heard alot about him and that he's supposed to be really good. So for those of you that don't know I've done a bit of Wikipedia-ing and YouTube-ing on him.

17 years old and plays for Southhampton. Is the clubs youngest ever player to play behind Walcott. Since 2010 with Southhampton he has 23 Appearences with 6 goals.

He'll move eventually. It's sad that clubs young players get nicked but that's how it is.

Sure, he'll move, no denying that, but I'd rather we hung in there, and cashed in when he develops, making more money than we would selling now. It pisses me off though, that it's always fucking Arsenal that try and buy the good youth, Arsene can develop his own, proving that with Jack Wilshere

Wenger said he's trying to sustain stability for the club for at least the next fifteen years. He will leave soon and these young players growing up will be a part of his legacy.

He will not develop to a top england international, he might have the quality to, but he will be overlooked simply because hes not playing in the premier league

That's why we have a five-year-plan to get us into the top flight. Chamberlain is an integral part of that. He'll be playing premier league football in 5 years maximum.

Let him stay at Southampton where he'll play every week.

I'd rather Arsenal bought him and loaned him to Southampton for three seasons or sign an agreement for him to join in 2014 but it'd never happen.

He won't grow to his potential without playing week-in week-out with top european players.

He can run rings around defenders in that league but Theo used to do it to Championship defenders and he took a while to develope with us aswell.

That was my point. And what have you got to base this on? They're better on FM?

Chamberlain is probably better on FM due to having some biased Southampton supporters rate him off his League 1 performances, whilst Wellington and Miyaichi have not had a way to prove themselves yet.

Although I have not personally checked any stats on FM of them yet.

Forest were linked with Chamberlain a few weeks ago, can't see us getting him though

If Wenger, who does extensive scouting in mist countries for young talent, is thinking of paying the sort of money being touted for Chamberlain, I'm pretty sure he sees something in him to make him worth it. So what's the damn problem

Polska, have you seen AOC play? You can tell defenders are shit scared of him, he tore Blackpool a new one when he came on, and consistently is our best player. He could do more than a job at a higher level. So no it is not 'Biased Southampton supporters rating him off league 1 performances.'
