He got the punishment but it didn't change where he finished. Formula 1/ Walcotts thread. - Page 30 644235

Clearly he was frustrated from Saturday, fastest in Q1 and 2, then he leaves in late in Q3, then the penalty before the race even began, then Shumacher giving him damage then over taking him. The the awful pit stop. Of course he's gonna get pissed off, all that bad luck all on 1 weekend Neutral. Maybe whoever is in charge shouldn't have released him for an interview.
    He's said this anyway.

“I've just been to the stewards to make peace,” he said.

"It was a bit of a joke, which wasn't funny at the time. I made them
aware that when emotions are high - and it's very intense at the end of
those kind of races - you don't always say the right thing.

“We've made our peace. They accepted my explanation, they understood. We all
shook hands afterwards. They said it was a tough weekend, let's move on, and
they all wished me well for the season."

joke or not, he knows what the media are like, they will take that and run with it.
on Lewis' driving, he has a senna like mentality to overtaking, "if you dont move, we're gonna crash" that sort of mentality will always end up in a crash around monaco. Hamiltons worst race ever i think, not something you expect to see from a world champion.
but till knowone stopped finger boy Mad im worried that was the best chance for someone to beat Vettel again this season, Vettel had the luckiest weekend hes ever had probably, bit of a lucky pole, before the red flag, you could argue hamilton, button, alonso and webber would of all improved their times and probably knocked him off pole, then in the race, clearly not the fastest, both button and alonso faster and on better strategies, and then the red flag and the weird rule that your allowed to change tyres which killed the race, if they kept the same tyres on, we would of seen an epic end to the race.

Funny how Rosberg gave Shumacher the room on the hairpin but Massa in the Ferrari wouldn't give Hamilton the room. Loved that Hamilton said on the radio that he done it deliberately aswell. Im fucking happy Massa crashed out, cunt. Formula 1/ Walcotts thread. - Page 30 601554
All of this just gives all the Hamilton haters more excuses to hate him.

edit - Geri Halliwall said to Adrian Newey is he the guy who changes the wheels. Formula 1/ Walcotts thread. - Page 30 70955

Yeah apparently it's back on according to a Bahrain Official on Twitter. Not 100% confirmed as of yet though. Happening towards the end of the year/season.

Date of Bahrain GP to be October 30 according to official government Tweet.

If that Tweet is correct then the Indian GP moves to either Nov 6, Nov 20 or Dec 4 which teams are totally against. #Bahrain #F1

Officials from the Indian Grand Prix say that it will be held on Dec 4 or 11.

I think it's pretty fair to say, it's Vettel's world title to lose now. If the chasing teams can't do it at Canada, then they won't anywhere else.

im looking forward to this race. even in normal conditions, Red Bulls race pace this season hasnt been anywere as spectacular as their qualifying, id go as far as saying mclaren were quicker in the last 2 races. and this weekend it seems like Ferrari have stepped up and are only a matter of tenths off Vettel. i can see a ferrari winning this if its dry. but forecasts are actually showing it may be a wet race, which will be equally exciting, although i suppose then Vettel will just drive off out infront for another win. Mclaren have gone the wrong way with setup and have fallen behind although again they could come good in the race, more so if it rains

Just hope someone will stop Vettel, anyone

no kers again for webber, poor guy, but perhaps he can at least defend from start since canadian start to turn 1 is not long like other races. but i wont be surprise if he again gets overtake by hamilton and maybe even rosberg in the start
