i find it very tough to see mcclaren winning championship over next 2 season, red bull already building next season car and will have best engine when the 4 cylinder engine switch is become set in 2013, 2013 would be great time for hamilton to switch if he wants to

2013 onwards possibly, purely because of all the regulations. Can't see him doing much with Red Bull they way they are.

Apparently these new Engines that come in 2013 are slower, more efficient and don't sound the same. A Formula 1 car is louder than a Jet Plane, and imo thats a major part of F1, the sound of the cars.

Whilst your on the subject of speed of car..

"The FIA, has written to the teams to tell them that they will no longer
be allowed to change engine maps between qualifying & the race"

Now if thats true, thats really interesting. All the big teams turn their engine right up to full so it's at it's quickest, does this mean they will have to keep it like this in the race? Considering they only have 8(?) engines per season aswell.. they won't last as long if they turn their engine up in Q3 then go and do 50+ laps for the race. Suspect

Really delighted both Hamilton and Button said what they said, hopefully McLaren get their arses in gear.

Is any1 going Silverstone? Im hoping to go next year for the whole race weekend (All 3 practises, qualifying and race) but will be looking to buy them early so they are cheaper. I know you could buy them in January this year.

Nah, might be going to the Renault World Series next month though at Silverstone. Just need to check we can get tickets again and if my dads not working. Went there last year for the first time and really enjoyed it, froze my bollocks off though.

It's a 50/50 to be fair. Lewis' contract runs out the year all the new regulations come in. Lewis has always said he will stay at McLaren if they give him a competitive car every year..

ricciardo(red bull reserve driver) replaces that useless indian at hrt for rest of season

and interview with horner about this he said that ricciardo will 100% be full time driver for red bull or toro rosso next season

and he also hint that is possible that algersuari might move up to redbull or even ricciardo? this is strange situation since ricciardo reguarly is faster then both jaime and buemi in testing and practice but he has no race craft experience in f1 yet

since webber is now almost confirm to join redbull i think this is likely? no?

I hope Ricciardo doesn't get judged properly by Torro Rosso & Red Bull in a HRT. It's a pile of shittttt.

Hope it's a wet race on Sunday!

yeas! i was so happy for ricciardo, he was quicker then liuzzi in 2 practice session

but in qualifying liuzzi was to good, ricciardo make bad mistakes in sector 2, a lot of understeer but i think this is fair since his first qualifying session ever

i will cheer for ricciardo since i want him in toro rosso for next season, and speak of this, buemi and jamie was terrible in qualifying. they blame setup but wow, even williams was faster then us

    di resta qualify 6th!!!!
    maldonado 7th!!!!

Apparently the normal regulations with the exhaust are returning for the next race. Neutral What a load of shit. Install it hours before Qualifying at Silverstone, then return to normality once the race is finished.
