Red Bull 1-2 tomorrow no doubt about it. Just can't see Hamilton and co competing with Webber and Vettel. Webber P1, Vettel P2.

I was just sayin if Vettel doesn't have KERS at the start of the race, he's gonna be fucked. I can see Hamilton, Alonso and Button all taking him easily before they even go into the first corner..

Don't even know why I bought it up cos he will probably have them anyway. Laughing

ok so hamilton was surprise me but still i think this race prove vettel is above everyone. if he a lesser driver he would of ended up like webber. speaking of webber what another fail. he surely has no excuses. even without kers his start was pure rubbish again. button was a nice

and alonso lol. at first i thought wow hes back to beasting and then he just fell away

heidfield deserves credit also though. 24th to 8th. monsterous

Gr8 news. Will be good for him to ease him into Formula 1 & ready for next season.

Hopefully with the bafta award the f1 bbc team got, that will encourage them to extend their contract cos I only think it runs until 2012 or 2013, can't remember.

its better on bbc, no add breaks. study

Can someone clarify the tyres to me please. How many different types? How many types can you use on one weekend? And how many sets of each do you get for one weekend. Watched P1 and P2 and they had red tyres on. Run

    Wet - Orange
    Inters - Baby blue
    Super soft - Red
    Soft - Yellow
    Mediums - white
    Hard - Silver

The super softs are being used for the first time this weekend. I think teams get 11 sets of tyres, however in Australia they got 12 to encourage drivers to go out in Practise 1. Not sure if they still do that though. If it's a dry race then you have to use both sets of the dry tyres in a race.

edit- just found a pic of the tyres

Yeah qualifying is crucial at Monaco, theres only like 1 place you can properly over take - coming out of the tunnel! Wonder if we will have our first safety car of the season though..

The races are usually boring because theres nowhere to over take. It really is upto the strategists (Lol! canny spell) in this race, whether to go 1 stop or 2 stop, when to bring the drivers in or whatever, also the driver to make the time up on an out and in lap. Anyone from Vettel, Webber, Hamilton, Button or Alonso can win this one, possibly Massa depending on his mood. Had a shocker last time out.

Also it's either Maldonado or Perez, im sure it's one of those, they are masters of Monaco or something. Formula 1/ Walcotts thread. - Page 28 279869

Nasty crash that, hope he's ok. I kept squinting seeing it again and again, horrible to watch. That bump on the exit of the tunnel needs to be eradicated, it's a fucking abomination, you thought the Perez crash was bad, tell you what, if Rosberg had of hit that head on, he'd of been in severe trouble, luckily he missed the collision, Perez wasn't as fortunate.

Sergio is concussed but no fractures. He'll stay in hospital overnight but things are encouraging says a Sauber statement

#f1 Latest from Sauber - Perez has no broken bones. Has a sprained thigh and concussion. Good news

Doctors at hospital say Perez is "stable" and his condition "encouraging" but he has concussion.

    Good news ! cheers
