You were for sure baiting/trolling constantly. In retrospect it did make it more interesting though. A lot of people were constantly taken in so I suppose it was successful too.

The internet's a totally different place now.  Internet trolling jumped the shark when one became President of the United States.  People got too wise to it, it's gone into some really dark, hateful shit now. Trolls are Russian bots, white nationalists, gender nutters and cunts like Kate Hopkins.  Political campaigns even use it, look at the Conservatives the other week using Comic Sans to get their messaging out, or putting out exaggerating figures so that people spend ages arguing about them and getting them in the public eye.  

Instead of winding people up or provoking interesting discussion they're now they're undermining the fabric of society.  Fair to say it's gone a bit far.  It's tragic how few people are wise to it.

My wife asked me who a few Facebook friends were and how we met. Some are from this forum and I’ve managed to log in and view some old posts, threads and messages.

This was a great little forum back in the day and I remember spending hours and hours in the chat thread just posting utter nonsense. 

16k posts in about 5 years, averaging about 9 posts a day, I probably should have got out more in my teen years.

The Xbox 360, Pro Clubs sessions were a right laugh to be fair.

I hope everyone is well and I would love to hear how people have been since they left the forum?

I’m now 27, married and own a house - I don’t think 14 year old Pilkz would have imagined that to be honest!

I’m still following Blackburn Rovers up & down the country each week and I can’t say we have improved much since I last posted.

I’ll probably forget about this post and be back in a few years time anyway.

Yeah, I'm well thanks. I'm 28, don't have a wife and "earn" a living by clearing people's cache. Outside that I travel, watch football (gotten into groundhopping recently) and go to live gigs.

Reading some of my posts and Christ, I can see why people thought I was a weirdo. To be fair at the time, I was socially awkward, didn't really have any IRL friends and so this forum served as my main social outlet, so I can see why people thought that my personality was contrived/overbearing. Apologies if I came across as a bit of a twat.

I would say that my personality has changed a lot since I was last active on this place. Politically, I'd class myself as a social democrat. Musically, my tastes are all over the map. Yes, I am keeping a close eye on Raphael Lea'i's exploits in Bosnia.

This was a great place during its heyday and I'm glad the forum still exists, even if it just serves as an archive these days. I still see a couple of people from here posting on Reddit.

Hopefully everyone's doing well.

Hey guys,

I go on here every now and then for the nostalgia and too see if everyone is still active, seems to be less and less a thing now we're all grown up. Im 30 now and i started from the EA days to the other forums after to this one we're inactively on now. I was 15 then so thats a bit mental to me.

So i was and still am an introvert and at the time i was going through some difficult events personally so coming on here took me away from that so basically thanks to you all for that. Even the douches  . Not sure how i came across but hopefully not too much of a twat but more than likely!

Im not married but live with my partner of 12 years and in a job at a company im happy at so all is good really   she doesn't really know about this forum   Probably just a brief question about one of you on Facebook 

Anyway, great coming back on here and im sure i'll pop back too. Hope all you guys are well
