It was solid. I only gained five pounds and I built a solid platform GPA-wise, so I think I avoided the two big problems for freshmen. I'll worry about the whole having fun and making friends thing next semester.SBSP wrote:How was your first semester?

Still waiting for my final grades, but I think I did well. My light schedule helped me adjust quicker, so next semester will be more challenging academically.
It's not as easy to make friends when living off campus, but it's not really been a big problem.

I'm looking to keep my course load fairly consistent to see if I can graduate a semester early/work more hours my final year. Need to be in and amongst the bucks early to avoid graduating with too much debt.

I guess it depends on the university. Here TAs are undergrads while GSIs are graduate students. I think TAs might only teach computer science courses though.
