Yeah, it's pretty nice.. here's me on the other end of it today..
Ended up coming 10th in this 180 player tourney, was well on course to cash big (Top prize was $400) until that happened, if I managed to get away from the AK hand I would've lost the rest in the Jacks hand anyway so I'm not going to lose too much sleep over it.
I've read Super system 1 and Dan Harringtons online cash game book, the latter was an exceptional book but it's more focused on using HUD's in online play than actually playing live.

It just means that you 'shipped' all your chips, went all in.
It can also be used as an exclamation if you say like 'Ship it!' after you win something because the winnings are shipped to you.
There's tons of poker terms, some are useful and some are just obnoxious and unnecessary.

Might try and get a couple of books on cash games and improve there. I struggle to find ones that apply to my limits though, they all seem tailored to high stakes. Might get one just on maths if I can find one that's readable.

If you have Sky they show poker on channel 191 late at night that's pretty good to watch. WPT, WSOP, Epic Poker League and PKR Heads up are good, PKR TV is terrible and repeats the same few games over and over.

Yeah I watch that channel quite frequently but literally everything is repeated it's ridiculous.
One of the PKR cash games is mental, some guy check-calls with a full house and someone calls a massive all-in with a 4 high flush, then you get the commentators ejaculating about it for 10 minutes saying stuff like 'OMG that is so sick!'
