Why does FIFA get so much hate?

yeah, it has a few errors, but it is still probably the biggest selling game in the world and one of the best franchises ever.


Servers arent as bad as everyone makes out, they disconnect every few days for me, but then again on CoD you get "connection interrupted" about once a day minimum.

I've never had any problems with the connection, not too often anyways.

And as for career mode, that's always got stick but I can never fault it. It's a bit tedious seeing the same players move to the same teams but that's only a minor thing.

Wouldn't go as far as saying it's the biggest selling game in the world. But yeah, I think it's a good game, but tbf, people rage at other games, it just goes unnoticed.

apart from CoD it is the biggest selling franchise right now.(In the UK)

FIFA is the only game I play now and honestly I have never had any major problems with it.

Things like the same players move to the same teams doesn't really bother me or the servers disconnecting...

Excuses from 12 year old boys who can't accept defeat. Sure, I'd be pissed off for a few minutes but not take it out on the game

Don't get it either, everyone buys it every year anyway.

I can't buy sports games year after year, it's just not worth it. Last FIFA I had was 11 I believe so I'm excited for 13, it should feel like a truly new game.

Because they cater to noobs (which is fair enough from a business perspective because they make so much fucking money!)

Because there is no flow to the game. Pace abusing is the only way to win.

It's impossible to play fluid tiki-taka football, the ball doesn't flow and has no movement.

What other game can you play for 12 months straight without getting bored, theres nothing wrong with it for me.

In getting pretty bored of it now, but that's quite understandable.

And I have fuck all other games I feel like playing.

There's never anything majorly wrong with the game, but it's sometimes a little frustrating that there's little glitches/bugs/problems that would be so easy for EA to fix but they don't bother.

I don't hate the Fifa games at all, my main gripe is with EA themselves.

EA is the problem, they're not very good at making games and it's not like a shooter were there are a lot of good ones to choose from. FIfa or Pro, pick your poison as they are both pretty crappy when it comes down to it.

This. They seem to focus most of their attention on UT (understandable, it's where they make their money) while the rest of the game gets ignored. Clubs is a bit of a mess unfortunately.

Clubs sounds good this year though
