It's the same date that was set for the Coventry game, that game will be rescheduled.
Bristol Rovers will take on rivals Bristol City in a pre season match.
The two sides will go head to head at Ashton Gate on August 4th in a testemonial for Louis Carey.
Currently the City's second highest appearance holder with 625, Louis is poised to sign a new one-year contract at City and could yet surpass the late John Atyeo's record of 645.
It is somewhat fitting for the Bristolian that his testimonial game will come against Bristol Rovers - City's derby rivals.

Maybe Virgo too with the "no recognised centre halves" comment.I don't want to bring Parkes, Bolger or Lund back on loan again, they're all great players but we should be focusing on building a squad not having a team full of loanees otherwise we end up doing this each season.
The option up front better be a poacher.

I agree with you there. Hes not been special at any of his other clubs and he seemed to click at Bury with the players we had. I do hope he does well at Preston but i think he should sign for us and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Bury fan.
