My Granddad was a bus-driver and he told me one very important thing; never cross in front of a bus.

He was driving one day on a busy road and a kid jumped off his bus, ran straight round the front and got hit by a car going 50, flew 20+ feet through the air apparently.

We have clear markers on the road indicating a pedestrian crossing, not some shitty sign on a lamp post.

Also that looks like a really busy road - would be better off with some traffic lights

the impact wasnt even directly after they passed the bus.. they were almost at the median.. this is the drivers fault 100%.. obv wasnt paying attention

but this is also why i also understand why mothers are so cautious crossing streets with their children.
