Thor, Green Lantern and Captain America were all rushed though. Decades of storylines crammed into 2 hours don't ever go well. That said they did the best they could and I have respect to them as they all did roughly turn out good. Still, nowhere near best movies of 2011 because aforementioned crammed-ness.

Out of the 3 though, Captain America was the best storyline wise.

Super 8 was shit.

Between that and Roger Ebert's list ( http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2011/12/the_best_films_of_2011.html ), I sincerely doubt there are any standout films missing.

Ironclad was excellent, very underrated. Best medieval/sword film of the year.

I really liked 50/50. I probably liked it a lot more than other people because I've experienced cancer first hand with a friend. They took a difficult subject and added humour to it.

You have to watch Breaking Dawn then.

I watched Breaking Dawn.

Like the other two.....such a big build up and it feels like nothing has happened.
