Alonso's role cant be judged by dumb stats like assists etc.. You actually have to watch a full game to see the extent of his role. His passing is second to none, and hes unusually tiger-ish for Spanish player.

Yes I know.. i'm not judging him on stats. I'm judging him on the full games i've watched and what you just said is why I think he's overrated. Passing 2nd to none? Right..
