even santos winning the copa libertadores this year the clubs were very bad too
santos almost were eliminated in group stage but recovered incredibly and got the trophy
corinthians trolled by desportes tolima in pre-libertadores
cruzeiro being called the "barcelona of americas" were owned by once caldas at home after beating them in colombia (i think it was the first team finish the group stage on top out of 16 teams... beating a team in round of 16 away but in second match losing at home)
the others teams were quiet easily beat like internacional, fluminense and gremio by penarol, libertad and univ de chile respectively
and finally we cant forget a team from congo beating internacional in wcc 2010
and also brazil nt being toyed by holland in wc 2010
