Should you send scouts to the country of their nationality?

I sent three English scouts to Mexico, Egypt and Brazil, already signed one Brazilian CB for my youth team, I think scouting is fun

I sent them to the country of their nationality,I wouldn't of thought it would have a huge effect if you didn't though. I just wanted to scout Holland,Spain and England really.

I got one Swiss player for my Basel team. How do I get him in my Youth squad?

I sent my scout to Egypt and he found 4 players all with the potential to reach 80+.

I sent out the best English one you can get at the start, something like 4 million for him, to Brazil for 3 months.

I sent a Venezuelan scout to Brazil, he was just a 3 star experience and judgment wise, but I didn't have tons to spend.

So you guys have signed scouted players? Then they go into your youth squad, are they generally awful? And does the youth squad play its own games and the kids improve over time?

I imagine I will just be scouting, signing, and selling. I dont like to play with fake players.

Can you find the potential of your own first team squad players?

Picked up a couple of gems from Belgium, at least, future gems.

Well I finally got a scouting report back. I didn't sign anybody and was then alerted when one of them was signed by another team, so I went back and signed them.

It says you cannot promote them until theyre 18 to the senior squad, but does anybody know if you can sell them?

On mine it lets you promote them when they're 16. I'm playing CM with a lower division English club though so I guess it works by the league rules?

Btw It deducts £500 of your wage budget if you sign a player for your youth team but if you get rid of them the rem. wage thing doesn't go back up. What gives? Another bug?

I also find that the £8m scouts and the £50,000 scouts have very little difference in what they find

I was able to put my youth players into my Arsenal team at 16.

Has anybody scouted a player and ended up using them yet?

I have scouts there, England and Brazil

Greece, Croatia and Egypt looks good, got this Greek Striker, scored a brace and set one up on his first game against Valencia.

Egypt and Ghana are the best places for me soo far. In England I've only found 1 good player. Usually good English players have bigger wage demands which makes it harder to loan them out.

I wish you have a bigger youth academy. I have to chop and change all the time every time I find a really good player.

Really? I've signed a few 16 and 17 year olds.

I scouted a 16 year old Brazillian. Potential of 91 but only a 38 rating at the moment. So I doubt he'll get to that 91, played him against Bolton, on his debut scored 2 goals. Fucking quality.

Picked up a 16 year old Spanish striker for my Barcelona CM with a potential of 88. I had a striker crisis. Brought him on as a sub twice, scored 3 times.

I signed a player with potential of 71 - 88. I just took a punt, it was only £25k and £500 a week wage..

A year later, my scout gives me a report and it says his potential is 86-91.

@Champion - I meant 16.

You guys are really playing players with ratings of 38 and 50 and shit?
