Just looking at the rankings now, not sure if I've worked it out correctly but, assuming Zvonareva doesn't win (which, let's face it, she won't) Wozniacki will still be at least 2000 points clear of #2 (should be Sharapova) after the USO.
So unless Sharapova or Azarenka win the next 2 big tournaments coming up and the season ending championships (or if Woz loses in R1/R2 for them all
) then she'll still be #1 through the new year.My bad.
But at least Vika will be at a career-high of #3 next week
