I don't think you'll ever see as good a match.

Nadal v Federer in 2008 was far better than Federer v Roddick in terms of drama. I can't remember what the quality was like in 2009...probably not that good if Roddick was involved The tennis thread. - Page 9 3925848005

Meh, I blew off this year's Wimbledon final to go play some tennis myself Laughing

There was a question on "Million Pound Drop Live" today......these two guys were playing and one was an ex tennis coach.

Question: "Which of the following three were oldest when they won Wimbledon for the first time? Nadal, Djokovic, Federer".

They put 50:50 money on Federer and Nadal facepalm

That's what I was thinking Laughing

Literally I watched the whole program, and probably would've got them all right. Still...it's a lot harder when you're there....your mind can go blank.

Mind you, I don't think that many people who don't follow tennis will know who Djokovic is.

    Who is Djokovic's kryptonite?

Saying that though, since he's turned it on he has hardly lost so it's hard to say.

    Fuck you

If you told me this time last year I'd be cheering Federer to knock Djokovic out I'd have told you to fuck off.

The Australian Open Final of 2009 pushed it pretty fucking close.

The Federer vs Roddick one was like a piece of shit compared to the most beautiful diamond when compared to 2008.

Yeah, phenomenal match, just hope we see some more Rafa - Roger finals, Novak is having none of it though.

I don't think it makes much difference at this stage, on Clay Nadal would just kill Federer, and even on other surfaces, while Federer's got the superior head-to-head, I'd still expect Nadal to win, Federer's not what he once was, nowhere near.

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't expect the same level of Tennis from 2008, I just think their styles compliment each other in a way where it's set up for a much more entertaining match.
