I once nearly got hit by a quad bike during a game. And at the same game there were nutters (probably the same ones that were on the bike) about 100m from the pitch, literally throwing an axe into the air and dodging it.

This is fucking disgusting. Referees are already under enough pressure from managers and players crowding around them, now fans are trying to physically hurt them. It's a disgrace and i'm not surprised people don't want to be referees.
