New Signing Discussion Thread

I see a lot of people including me asking others about players, like are they any good etc. So I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for people wanting to know some information about their teams new signings.

Ashley Young is overrated, overpriced and we didn't need him.
Phil Jones is overpriced and we didn't need him, probably overrated as well.
De Gea, who knows.

Nigel Pearson always makes great signings so I wont be in here.

Jenkinson - A player for the future, hope he plays well as backup for Sagna.

Gervinho - Looks a very lively winger. Think he was a good signing for £10M.

Gervinho - Looks good.
Jenkinson - Looks good.

But we aint signed anyone else so...we are fucked.

Btw, this thread is not really for what I done, I just thought I'd have a go at our signings.

Courtois- We dont even have him for the season lolz
Romeu- Dont know lol

I remember an Aston Villa player saying Young can be our new Ronaldo

Anybody know anything about O'Dea?

I was just saying. He is meant to be a big superstar. "The next Kaka" but how many Brazilians are given that title? Ganso has it as well.

Downing - Might of overpriced him a little but fine crosser good pace great dribbler just like we needed.
Henderson - We've spun the wheel for this chap but I rate him as a good solid midfielder.
Doni - Hate him didn't impress me at Roma or anywere else.
Adam - Blackpool's talisman last year, deadball specialist can pass a ball and can lead a team forward

Young: Very good winger that can also play behind the striker. Also a decent free kick taker, something we have lacked since Ronnie left.

Jones: Has great potential to be a top player. He is very versatile which helps allot.

De Gea: A great young goalkeeper with bags of potential, but will he be good enough for United? I hope so.

Pointless thread. The fans of big teams will already have a lot of knowledge about their signings and fans of smaller teams wouldn't simply sit around and not research their new players.

Not much mate but he's definitely decent, I've seen him play a few times and he's solid. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a breakthrough at Celtic when he returns from his loan at you because Celtic have got a few defensive problems tbh. Good signing though.

Doni - Not really bothered.
Henderson - Expensive, but has a great future ahead. Promising signs in pre-season.
Adam - Silly signing, decent passing range but can't see him doing well for us. Didn't need.
Downing - Best signing of the summer, first natural winger in a while.
