Prediction Game This Season

As I am pretty new on here not sure if this has been done before or is being done. But how many would be interested in a prediction game in one of the English leagues? Leaning towards Prem or championship, but open to suggestion. For example if we decided to do championship for the first week everyone would bold their predictions:

Coventry v Leicester, 12:30
Brighton v Doncaster, 15:00
Bristol City v Ipswich, 15:00

So on and so forth. 1 point for each correct prediction, and see who does the best.
Just an idea, to see what you think. I would run it.

I played a better version of this game with a group of mates a few years back. It's similar, the only difference is, you can only pick one team to win per week, and you can only pick a team once throughout the season.

For example. If you picked Man United to beat West Brom on the first week, and it happened. Then you're through to the next round, but you can never pick Man United again. So you've got to choose tactically, otherwise you'll be left with the shit teams at the end of the season to pick from. However, if you get a prediction wrong, you're out.

Do you get the idea? It could be a really good game on here if done properly.

Yes but wouldnt everyone get out before the season ends? And people could cheat because people wouldnt be arsed looking through the thread to make sure they werent using teams twice.

You could start it again once everyone is out or 1 person left. And you could put in the OP a list of everyone who is playing and update next to there name the teams they have chosen?
