Fucking anything, I absolutely love documentaries. One of the ones I've been watching recently are the 'Wonders of the Universe', 'Wonders of the Solar System' space documentaries by Prof. Brian Cox.

My favourite ones are history documentaries about famous people such as Hitler, Da Vinci. I also love anything on Dinosaurs.

    First 2 are films:

    Tupac Ressurection

Biggie & Tupac (this one is brilliant)

And anything on animals/dinosaurs, love that stuff.

Watched Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room last night

    Favourite Documentaries Enron1

It basically chronicles Enron's fall from 7th largest company in the US to bankruptcy in a matter of months. The largest ever company to go bankrupt. Primarily caused by greed and an absolutely ridiculous accounting system. It's fall caused an overhaul in the view of corporate governance in the US, with the Sarbanes-Oxley act passed mainly because of Enron's failing.

Worth a watch if anyone is interested, or especially if they are studying, business.

Another one I watched a few months ago; Dear Zachary: A letter to a son about his father

    Favourite Documentaries Poster-med

Basically this documentary serves as a 'letter' to a son about his deceased father with family members and the fathers friends telling the story.

Don't want to go into too much detail as I will ruin the effect of the film, but it is simply the saddest fucking thing I've ever watched. I never shed tears watching films, since I'm male, but this is as close as I've come lol.

    I'd definitely recommend.

Also got Inside Job to watch tonight or tomorrow. An award winning documentary on the financial crisis.

I actually like documentaries but never find myself watching them. Main TV downstairs always taken in the evenings and it's a bit too much effort to download them silent

    Young, Angry and White

First Cut meets a teenager considering joining the British National Party, and attempts to understand what makes a young person think of joining a party with such a controversial manifesto and image. Contains language and views some may find offensive.

    Breakout

Documentary on The Maze Prison Escape in the Early 1980s. 36 IRA Men in Block 7 escaped from Europes most secure prison based inside a British Military Facility just outside Lisburn. This escape took place shortly after the Hunger Strikes Protest came to an end at christmas 1981. This was also one of Margaret Thatchers biggest embarrasements while in office.

ESPN Classic are showing one of the '30 for 30' documentaries every night in December. A lot of those are worth watching, obviously they focus more on American sports but there are a lot of good stories there.

    http://films.nfb.ca/rip-a-remix-manifesto/

The documentary is about how copyright laws started, how they are today, copyright infringements, intellectual property, pirating, usage of copyrighted materials, who controls the media and culture of America and how they rose to power, and the ethics and morals of the issue in a fun and easy to understand way

    Mega Bump:

Watch all 3 of these they are amazing: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/china-triumph-and-turmoil
It's all about how China are gonna take over the world and shit.

Also on a similar topic are these: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/civilization-is-the-west-history/4od

I think I have a man crush on Niall Ferguson. If anyone does decide to watch them it would be great to hear your thoughts.

Watched 3/4's of this last night, actually thought it was pretty funny. I watched most of it, but does he question Islam in the later stages of the documentary, he seemed to be constantly referring to Christianity and Judaism, but never really mocked Islam??
