Online Achievements/Trophies

So, does anyone else get annoyed or dislike online achievements? Wether it's the frustration you can't complete a game because you don't have an online account, or you're sick of boosting getting spammed with messages to boost an achievements, or are you a single player guy?

Whats Playmaker's gamers opinions on online 'cheevos?

Nothing wrong with them. It's not like you NEED to get them.

This. I'd be a smug fucker if I actually got 100% gamerscore on a game, but I probably never will.

If i know i can achieve them then ill try and get them, eg i platinumed Resistance 2 as i basically bummed that game and 10,000 online kills was easy.
The most annoying tropies are the: 'collect all intel', 'find all hidden...' etc

I personally can't be fucked with them. I play a game to enjoy myself, not to stress myself out trying to get tedious achievements, which in the end mean fuck all.

If I get it along the way, then that's fine. I'm not one to play a game 2387129837173 times just to get all the achievements unless I actually like the game and want to play it that many times. I mean, I must have played Left 4 Dead 2 like a million times now. Don't even think I've got all the achievements for it either.

I like them, gives a little extra to aim for in a game.

I wont go massively out of my way to get them though, unless I really enjoy the game.

Don't really care about them anymore. I thought it was a cool novelty to have at first but once you've got like 10k of gamer points it kinda wears off.

Generally not bothered, I don't go out of my way to get them.

I only tried really hard to get them all on Halo 3 but that was the only time I think, now I couldn't care less.

On my other account, I got 100% on UNO.


I just think 'what a saddo' if I see someone has got 100% on some games though, cos you can just tell that they've just sat there playing to get achievements.

3 platinum trophies and counting.

Hoping it'll be 5 by the end of the month. Not far off Blops and Heavy Rain.

I got 73 achievements on Halo 3.
