Reckon this is bull to be honest. Rafa asked them for a significant amount in the transfer budget to rebuild the side and they told him to do one.

Unfortunately Downing and Adam will probably be playing for us this season.

Most likely, easily replace Downing with Dorrans from WBA though. Can't think of anyone else who would go to Villa and be able to pick out a pass from deep.
