Player-Manager Mode: 11 season limit

I've been simming through a bunch of seasons just to do some recon and learn more about the game. Looks like player-manager mode is limited to 11 seasons. The mode keeps going after your 11th season mind you, but you just are not presented with the option of returning as a player, regardless of how bad ass your player is.

Yeah I think they mentioned that eventually your player retires and you become a manager.

So either you do
player - player-manager - manager
player-manager - manager
manager
or maybe player - manager
But you can't keep playing until you're like 45 years old

True (Giggs is giving it a go though), but if you make your guy 21 years old at the outself of a player-manager campaign (leave aside the lunacy of a 21 year old being manager), you ought to be able to play out 15 seasons as long as your player is still a good player.
